Plot

Once in every millennium, the divine Council of Gods congregates in celestial assembly to weigh the fate of humanity. After scrutinizing seven million years of human history, they reach a grim conclusion - humanity, with their imperfections and flaws, are beyond redemption and must be obliterated. However, a shimmer of hope emerges in the form of the valiant Valkyrie, Brunhild. She challenges the gods' verdict and proposes that mankind deserves one last shot at proving their worth. Intrigued, the gods agree to stage the epic battle of Ragnarok, a high-stakes showdown that places the fate of humanity on a precarious balance. Pitted against each other are thirteen of history's most renowned humans and thirteen of the cosmos' most formidable gods, locked in mortal combat. Each duel to the death teeters the scale of survival or extinction, with humanity's salvation hinging on achieving at least seven victories. To level the playing field, each human is paired with a valkyrie who morphs into a "Volund," a potent weapon custom-made to complement their combat style. But this alliance is not without risk - the death of a human spells the end for their partnered valkyrie. In this high-octane contest of celestial might versus human resilience, every blow echoes the struggle for survival, every victory a step towards redemption, and every defeat a whisper of extinction. Record of Ragnarok captures the epic struggle of humanity's last stand against divine judgment.
