Merlin (2008)

The story of the powerful wizard and advisor to King Arthur is breathed new life in this story that goes all the way back to Merlin's early days. As a teenager, he's a talented student who soaks up lessons on medicine while teaching himself magic in private. But when he becomes a squire to the haughty prince Arthur, friction arises between Merlin and the royal. Though initially frigid, the two soon become fast friends. But there are still secrets that Merlin needs to keep. If his friend or anyone else knew he was a powerful sorcery, he'd be putting his life in jeopardy.
