Lovecraft Country (2020)

If Atticus Freeman had any illusions about what it was like to be black in America, his time in the military during World War II have left him ruminating in the cold, hard truth. But when he returns home to find a mysterious letter from his missing father, he discovers that there are a world of supernatural abominations that live and manipulate things just below the surface. Atticus will have to wrestle not just with demonic and existential threats from another world but also with the hatred and violence that white people inflict on black communities in the mid-century United States.
