Nothing happens in Atlantic Station without the knowledge of Nucky Thompson. As the city treasurer, Nucky has control over where practically every cent in the city goes, but he wouldn't be who he is today without his silver tongue and art for negotiation. Nucky's ability to work with gangsters, politicians, and everyone in between has made him one of the most powerful men during Prohibition. But the political game that Nucky's playing is a dangerous one, and he's not the only factor at play. The federal government has shown an interest in Nucky's operations, and he can't count on anyone to have his back once things take a turn for the worst.
