X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014)

Back in 1973, a scientist by the name of Dr. Bolivar Trask created powerful synthetic beings known as Sentinels with the sole purpose of wiping out mutants. However, they eventually evolved into targeting both humans who carried the DNA and humans who sympathized with mutants. Now, in a desolate future, mutants and their human allies are being overwhelmed by the cold, ruthless killing machines. With no other solace in sight, the remaining X-Men devise a plan that sends Wolverine back in time in a last-ditch effort to change history and prevent the brutal future from coming to fruition.
