Following her first encounter with human society, which she saved from the wrath of Ares, the god of war, the immortal Amazonian demigod Diana Prince now works as an archaeologist at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC while secretly moonlighting as Wonder Woman in the year 1984. After foiling a robbery that involved a large trove of stolen antiquities, Diana finds among them the ancient Dreamstone, which grants the holder a single wish but also exacts a terrible price. When struggling businessman Maxwell Lorenzano gets his hands on the Dreamstone, it threatens to unleash chaos on everything around him.
