True Grit (2010)

Teenager Mattie's father is murdered by one of his employees, and Mattie is determined to seek revenge. Although the Texas ranger and ex-U.S. marshal that she attempts to hire to help her initially try to set off on their own, believing she is incapable of going through with the mission, Mattie quickly catches up with them and heads into hostile territory to find the hired hand and bring him to justice.
