Mia is just an awkward, nerdy teen who only wants to survive Gifted and Talented and get her best friend Lily's brother to notice her. That is, until she learns her grandmother Clarice is Queen of the small nation of Genovia, which makes her, gasp, a princess! Will she be able to navigate telling Lily and those she loves, all while navigating high school life and her newfound celebrity? And, most importantly, will Michael finally notice her for her she is? She must navigate weekly princess lessons, a body guard and a new wardrobe all while surviving her freshman year.
