The Lobster (2015)

As birth rates plummet, an all-powerful government creates a sinister plan to encourage more romance within the population. All single members of society are forced to live in an odd, terrifying hotel and given a strict deadline: Anyone who does not find love within forty-five days will be transformed into an animal. When David's wife leaves him, he's forced into the hotel, and he soon discovers that most of the residents are single for very good reasons. David must choose between a horrifying future as a lobster or an equally horrifying fate with one of the strange guests.
