At first glance, it would appear that Dr. Stephen Murphy has the perfect life. His family life is apparently idyllic, and he's renowned throughout the world for his skills as a cardiovascular surgeon. He has taken a young man named Martin under his wing under the auspice that Martin had lost his father in a car accident a decade prior and was in need of guidance. But as Martin begins to ingratiate himself more deeply into the doctor's life, Murphy's family begins to grow sick. And when Martin reveals his dark history with Dr. Murphy, he does so with a terrifying ultimatum.
