Plot

In the bustling cityscape, Buster, a hapless underdog, is thrust into a whirlwind of misadventures after a simple quest for a fresh loaf of bread leaves him in the crosshairs of relentless law enforcement. His world nosedives into chaos when he unwittingly becomes the subject of a dire case of mistaken identity. The real malefactor, the notorious outlaw Dead Shot Dan, is poised for his photographic arrest record. However, a harmless yet disastrous blunder swaps Buster's fate with that of the feared criminal. Suddenly, the city is plastered with "Dead or Alive" posters bearing Buster's bewildered face, forcing him to duck and dive through the intricate urban labyrinth. Armed with nothing more than disguises and quick wit, Buster grapples with the hilariously ironic twist of fate. His only solace in this unexpected game of cat and mouse is the charming Virginia, a beacon of sympathy in his stormy world. Their burgeoning friendship takes a dramatic turn when Buster seeks refuge in Virginia's home, only to encounter the one face he's been desperately trying to avoid - Virginia's father who, in an exquisite twist of irony, is the persistent police chief himself. As Buster teeters on the precipice of this comedic nightmare, one question remains: Will he ever manage to wriggle free from the hook of this outrageous farce, or is he doomed to be forever branded as Dead Shot Dan?
