The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2005)

College student Emily Rose is being tormented with strange smells, unexplained pain and black-out periods. Medical treatment doesn’t help, and she eventually turns to Father Richard Moore for help. Father Moore performs an exorcism, but when the ceremony goes horribly wrong, he finds himself trying to justify his actions to a court of law. Father Moore believes he did the right thing, even if he can’t explain his faith in scientific terms to his hot-shot atheist attorney. Unless Father Moore can convince the court that his actions were necessary, he'll be held responsible for Emily Rose's death.
