Plot

The film is shot in a "found footage" style, portraying to be the camera footage of three dead documentarians. The filmmakers are shown traipsing into the woods in pursuit of the Blair Witch legend, which tells the story of a man who killed seven children in the basement of his home in the woods. However, the three get lost in the woods and begin to suffer from an increasingly disturbing series of supernatural events, eventually culminating in violence, disappearance, and death. The film moves seamlessly between the two cameras used by the filmmakers and showcases their increasing fright and desperation as they attempt to survive the woods and make it home.
