Bullied at school because he’s constantly losing himself in his own daydreams, Max’s life is one push-and-shove-to-the-ground day after another. That’s until he accidentally brings to life two of his daydream creations - Sharkboy and Lavagirl. Astonished, and certain that with them he won’t be bullied any longer, Max ends up returning the favor when he finds out that Sharkboy and Lavagirl’s homeland is under threat.
