Superman Returns (2006)

In this quasi-sequel of the original films, Superman makes his triumphant return to the planet Earth after a five-year absence, having failed to find any survivors from his destroyed home world of Krypton. Despite his intention to resume his former life as Clark Kent, his plans are complicated by recent events. His colleague and former love interest Lois Lane has moved on with her life, and his arch-nemesis Lex Luthor, recently released from prison, has hatched a new plan to devastate the planet. Superman must stop him before it is too late.
