Strange Days (1995)

In the near future, people can buy data disks that contain the recorded memories, sights, experiences and emotions of one person so that another person can play the experiences inside their own brains. Lenny Nero is a down-on-his-luck ex-cop who is making a living selling the disks on the black market. His life takes a dark and dangerous turn when someone sends him a disk containing a memory recording of the rape and murder of a prostitute. Lenny uses his former police skills to investigate but quickly gets pulled deeper into an unhinged world of lust, rape, murder and mayhem.
