Shutter Island (2010)

Federal Marshall Teddy Daniels has been sent to the hospital for the criminal insane on Shutter Island to track down an inmate that has gone missing. But strange things begin to happen almost as soon as Teddy arrives, and he's getting little help from his new partner Chuck Aule. But Daniels has his own demons haunting him, many of them related to the horrors he saw liberating a Nazi concentration camp in the waning days of World War II. No one seems to want Daniels to figure out what happened, but he has his mind set on getting to the heart of the mystery.
