San Andreas (2015)

Ray Gaines works for the Los Angeles Fire Department as a daring helicopter pilot. Gaines is in the midst of divorcing his wife after the drowning death of their daughter. However, a cataclysmic 9.1 earthquake destroys Los Angeles and endangers the lives of Gaines' wife, surviving daughter, and millions of others. Gaines just rescue his loved ones as they travel throughout Los Angeles, attempting desperately to survive the shifting fault lines caused by movement of the infamous San Andreas fault.
