Roman Holiday (1953)

This is a classic film from the 1950s about a princess who is suffering under the pressure of her lifestyle. She is on a goodwill tour of Europe and always has to say the right thing and pose for photo ops wherever she goes. One day she sneaks out to have an anonymous day in Rome with no money and accidentally falls asleep on a bench. She is discovered by an American journalist and given shelter. When he finds out who she is he thinks he can have a great exclusive interview, but he gradually falls in love and changes his plans.
