R.I.P.D. (2013)

Narcotics Detective Nick Walker is killed on the job. Instead of eternal rest, he's recruited for an after-life job with the Rest In Peace Department (RIPD). With his new partner, former US Marshal Roy Pulsipher, Walker will return to the world of the living and hunt down fugitive souls who have escaped justice. Their first mission will take them to Boston, where Walker dreams of reuniting with his wife, only to discover that the fate of the entire universe rests in Pulsipher and Walker's ability to track down the bad guys.
