Poltergeist (1982)

Steve Freeling lives in California with his family in one of his company's real estate developments. Carol Anne, his youngest daughter, talks to what she calls "the TV people." Steve's wife, Diane, discovers a force in their house that can move chairs and people. Diane thinks it is harmless, but at night, during a thunderstorm, their son Robbie is attacked by supernatural forces, and Carol Anne disappears. Desperate, the Freelings call in a team of psychics, but the house is too much for them. Now their only hope of seeing their daughter again rests with the medium Tangina.
