Pinocchio (1940)

Gepetto is a toymaker who fashions a wooden puppet that he calls Pinocchio. He makes a wish that Pinocchio would actually be a real boy. A Blue Fairy overhears Gepetto's wish and makes it come true. She makes a tiny creature named Jiminy Cricket act as Pinocchio's "conscience" now that he is alive. Pinocchio is of course unfamiliar with human life and struggles with all the pratfalls that come with it. Will Jiminy Cricket manage to keep him out of trouble?
