Monster House (2006)

DJ knows to leave his neighbor alone. The cranky old man is known to destroy anything that lands in his yard including tricycles, balls, and other toys. When DJ and his best friend, Chowder, are playing outside, the two boys are devastated when their ball gets knocked into the neighbor's yard. The boys decide to enter the yard together in an attempt to retrieve their ball. Unfortunately, the boys are caught sneaking onto the neighbor's property, which unveils a secret. When no one believes them, the two friends partner with a neighborhood teenager to destroy the house.
