Mercury Rising (1998)

The NSA develops a top-secret code it believes is unbreakable. But government officials are stunned when a 9-year-old autistic boy with special abilities easily cracks it. Shadowy operators within the NSA send assassins to take out the boy. The killers bungle the job, kill the boy’s parents while the boy goes into hiding. Now it’s up to deeply-troubled FBI agent Art Jeffries to find the genius kid and protect him from a murderous government conspiracy. Jeffries locates the child and goes on the run. Bullets will fly and bodies will pile up before all is said and done.
