Lethal Weapon (1987)

Police Officer Martin Riggs doesn't play by the rules. His new partner, straight-laced Roger Murtaugh wants to survive long enough to retire from the force, while Riggs doesn't seem to care if he lives or dies. Both men assume the top brass in the department are working against them, because there's no other explanation for why they'd be paired together. This odd couple must overcome their personal differences to take down a crime ring or Los Angeles will be flooded with heroin.
