Do you need superpowers to be a superhero? For nerdy high school student Dave Lizewski, the answer is no. Dave scraps together a suit and patrols the streets, looking for crime to fight. His first attempts go terribly wrong, leaving him in this hospital and fighting for his life. He vows to grow stronger, but with a city full of corrupt police officers, violent drug dealers and little girls who can pack more of a punch than him, how is a high school student going to make a difference?
