Johnny Mnemonic makes a subsistence living in this world by willingly transporting sensitive materials in microchips that are planted in his head. But his new job is practically a death sentence. If the Japanese gangsters on Johnny's trail aren't enough to do him in, he'll still have to contend with the sheer wealth of data in his brain.
