Jack Reacher (2012)

A Midwest city sniper randomly shoots five people. Police arrest the troubled former Marine sniper James Barr and think they have a slam dunk case against him. But Barr refuses to confess and writes three words on a note, “Get Jack Reacher.” Reacher is a former Army criminal investigator. Barr’s attorney contacts Reacher but he's reluctant to take the case because he knows Barr and thinks he’s guilty. However, when Reacher starts digging deeper, he uncovers a complicated conspiracy and is soon ensnared in a deadly game with shadowy people who don’t want the crime solved.
