Working as a freelance military contractor means running the risk of getting betrayed by the people who hire you. That's something that Mallory Kane experiences firsthand when she's set up on a hostage recovery mission. Mallory is now the target of multiple international law enforcement groups, and she's halfway across the world from her home. Before she can clear her name, she's got to somehow make it to the United States to ensure the safety of her family. Only then can she think about tracking down who did this to her to get her revenge and regain her normal life.
