Gone Girl (2014)

Nick Dunne is a once-successful magazine writer whose career in New York crumbles. He moves with his wife back to a town in Missouri. His real troubles are about to begin, however, on the morning of his 5th wedding anniversary when his wife suddenly vanishes. As police investigate, they uncover troubling aspects of Nick’s past and also find evidence of a recent altercation in the house. Nick becomes a prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance. It creates a national media frenzy because of his wife’s celebrity. Shocking revelations will come out as the missing person investigation unfolds.
