Evan Almighty (2007)

Evan Baxter moves to Prestige Crest in Huntsville, Virginia, after being elected to Congress. Upon arrival, he prays to God for the opportunity to change the world. His wife wishes for their family to become closer. Strange things begin to occur soon after the move is completed. For instance, Evan receives vacant lots in his name he didn't purchase, and his beard won't stop growing. References to 614 eventually lead him to believe God wants him to build Noah's Ark. God appears and warns Evan a flood is coming to his town. As Evan begins to build the ark, his professional and personal lives start to degrade.
