Calvin's neighborhood may not be perfect, but it's a genuine community — and if there's a beating heart to the community, it's definitely the barbershop. And an environment that was once reserved solely for the men in the community has since grown co-ed. The female stylists and customers add a whole new personality to the scene, but this progress isn't the only change that's happened over the past few years. The neighborhood has taken a turn in the wrong direction, and it's up to the diverse and colorful characters who call the barbershop home to give the community hope and direction again.
