Assassination Nation (2018)

Salem is a town just like any other — perfectly ordinary on the surface but with a vicious current of secrets just beneath a surface. But things take a turn for the chaotic when a mysterious hacker leaks information about people throughout town. The hacks are initially used to unseat a hypocritical politician, but things become more violent as more and more information begins to leak out. Open secrets finally need to be embarrassingly addressed, and unknown lies lead to acts of violence. And for others, the hacks are an opportunity to shame those they already have grudges or ill feelings towards.
