Plot

This found-footage-style movie features the three astronauts of Apollo 18, highlighting the journey of these men on their secret mission to the moon. The stated journey of the trip is to deposit equipment that will make it easier to detect Russian missile launches. Upon landing, the two astronauts discover evidence of both a secret Soviet mission to the moon, as well as potential extra-terrestrial activity. The astronauts then begin to experience a series of increasingly bizarre and unexplainable events. At the same time, they lose communication with their fellow astronauts and Earth, causing them to fear the worst. The men must battle against unknown forces in order to repair their ship and find a way back home.
