American Made (2017)

Barry Sealer was an ordinary pilot for TWA until the CIA approached him with an offer in 1978. Seal's ambitions and his occupation make him a prime candidate for photographing Central American drug producing facilities, but he's soon upgraded to a position undercover within the ruthless Medellin Cartel. Soon, Sealer is smuggling weapons as well and finds himself right in the midst of the Iran-Contra scandal. The CIA's attempt to fund Nicaraguan rebels by selling drugs to Americans is doomed to eventual discovery, but it's Sealer who will find himself in the hot seat when the whole house of cards comes crashing down.
