Charlie, a feisty German Shepard, sneaks back to Earth after going to heaven. He doesn't think it was his time to go and he has stuff to do. After arriving back on Earth, Charlie makes friends with a young orphan. Soon the unlikely best friends become extremely close and Charlie learns one of the best gifts in the world is friendship.
