In the deceptively calm world of 16-year-old Vivian, being inconspicuous is her preferred mode of existence. Yet, the arrival of a novel personality within her high school's borders disrupts her cloak of invisibility, compelling her to confront the rampant unchecked behavior that her peers brazenly exhibit. Struck by this revelation, Vivian finds herself unwilling to remain silent. She discovers a wellspring of courage within her, fanned by the flames of her mother's rebellious history.
Taking the high school ecosystem by storm, Vivian anonymously launches an underground zine, 'Moxie', to unmask the myriad biases and injustices lurking in the school's corridors. To her surprise, her bold act catches fire, igniting a revolution that ripples through the student body. Suddenly, Vivian finds herself not in the shadows, but at the heart of an uprising.
As she navigates this new terrain, Vivian forms unexpected alliances with a diverse group of young women and fellow rebels. Together, they traverse the tumultuous landscape of high school, breaking down the walls of cliques and clubs, learning to weather the highs and lows, all while under the revolutionary banner of 'Moxie'.
